Biden administration is trying to reach an agreement with Qatari counter to give a home to thousands of Afghan SIVs due to security in Afghanistan and this will apply to the US-backed Afghans, according to CNN.

Biden administration is using the third state option in this case and it has announced on Thursday that it would send 1000 troops to Doha to help the process of SIV applications. Antony Blinken, the Secretory of State department,  thanked the Qatari counterpart for their efforts to help the US to save Afghan nationals.

“It is great that Qatar’s option is possibly there”, said Adam Kinzinger who served as an Air Force pilot in Afghanistan and Iraq. He further said that the administration needs to lean forward as hard as they can. Moreover, Qatar Defense Minister is expected to visit the USA in the coming weak.
