US Troops arrived in Kabul to assist staff evacuation: While Taliban has taken the key strategic Provincial Capitals of Kandahar on Friday. American troops have reached the Afghan Capital to help civilians and embassy personnel to evacuate, Reuters reported on Saturday.
American troops have flown into Kabul to help evacuate embassy personnel and other civilians in the Afghan capital, a U.S. official said on Saturday, a day after Taliban insurgents seized the country's second- and third-biggest cities.#Kandahar

Taking 3000 troops, 2 Marines and 1 Infantry battalions ll be reached in Kabul by Sunday. British and other western states have been sending their troops for their citizens in Afghanistan as the situation turned worse.
Taliban are some miles away to reach the capital and they have captured a key provincial capital Ghazni which is 130 km from Kabul. They also captured the corridor reaching Kabul, cutting off all the supplies to the capital.
US government initially feared that the whole country would be befallen by the Taliban in 30 days. It is now turning into a matter of days.

Yesterday Taliban also captured Salma Dam, a key dam built up with Indian assistance of $300 million.
