China presses Pakistan to chastise the perpetrators, ‘practical measures’, after after Gawadar attack.

Chinese embassy in Pakistan in saturday, forged Pakistan government for practical and effective measures, investigating the case and punish the perpetrators.

In a statement, China strongly condemned the attack on the “vehicle carrying Chinese citizens” in Gawadar in Friday.

“At the same time, relevant departments at all levels in Pakistan must take practical and effective measures to accelerate to implement strengthened whole-process security measures and upgraded security cooperation mechanism to ensure that similar incidents will not happen again,” the embassy said.

A suicide bomber blew himself in front of vehiclein friday, resulting in killing it 2 children 3 injured. Liaquat Shahwani, the spokesperson to Balochistan government had confirmed it was a suicide attack.

China is the leading investor in Gawadar and multiple projects under BRI has been running through the port. The statement by embassy noted the severity of security situation of Pakistan after the successive attacks in Chinese nationals in Pakistan.

They also extended there sympthies for the injured in the attack.
