Israeli premier drone manufacturing company “Israeli Aerospace Industries” announced that, they have concluded an agreement to provide Unmanned Aerial Vehicle services to an undisclosed state located in continent Asia. Most probably, this deal is related to Israeli origin UAV “Heron”.
According to IAI’s CEO, “This agreement is a testament to our customer’s strong satisfaction with the (Israeli) Heron UAVs, including their operational and tactical performance”.
Currently, about 20 states are operating Heron UAVs for surveillance purposes. Its main advantage includes automated remote takeoff and landing. During recant Nagorno-Karabakh war, Heron UAVs were widely used by Azerbaijani troops.
